Hello,
I have decided against purchasing the water damaged Lexus thanks to member's advice.
I have seen a 2006 with 97000 miles mainly motorway.
Any opinions
The engine from all accounts is bullet proof so presumably if regular serviced the high mileage should not be a problem
Many thanks

it is problem, high mileage is not only about the engine, suspention, steering, cooling and heating, body everything gets it and et the end of the day giving you such a headache that you start thinking to get rid of it

Depends on model, price, general condition, how many owners, privately owned or company, where it is for sale. So many things need to be factored in. 97k over say 5.5 years is only around 340 miles/week average which should be OK if serviced properly and on schedule. I had a GS 300 which had done 86k when I purchased it. When I sold it, 6 years later, it had done 146k and not really given me any problems.

Hi
The voice of doom again.
The chap selling the Lexus has stated he has money problems and as such has cut back on servicing. I think the last service was at 70,000 so no service for 25,000mls. factor in well over £1000 for service and it is not that cheap. Buyer beware.

Terry
