hi guys, pls i need some help about my head unit. i ve bought new double din dvd player for my lexus is200 and thats when everything started, i had to get new harness, unplug old one from amp and plug new one in, after struggling a lot i ve meneged to put dvd in. after i plugged everything back. since then light of climate control stays on showing just time and makes battery flat, i thought it was battery and bought new one but that light drains it in 3-4 days,today i just disconnected whole head unit to turn that bloody light off. pls can any1 tell me what the problem is?

Where did you get your harness from? It could be faulty!

i got it from halfords

Try and exchange it and hook it up again, atleast then you can eliminate wether you have a faulty harness.

thanks mate, it was really harness, i unplugged it and light went off, what i did was, i cut all wires off of harness,and plugged each wire one by one. memory wire turned the light on so i left it disconnected and connected all others, now it works ok, get the key off ignition and thanks god all the lights are off)

Thats good, glad you got it sorted. Im goin to be messing with wires soon as someone cut out original harness to take original stereo because they couldnt be arse to just plug them out!
