whats the best product to clean throttle body with? do i have to take it out or clean it without taking it out? whats the best way to do it?(lexus is200,2001 6 cylinders)

ive always used carb cleaner, ive never done it on my is200 but on other cars you can do it either on the car or off, carb cleaner drys quickly so it wont go into your engine.

thanks, today i ve opened it up and noticed that air filter connection pipe s demeged and air is leaking, is there any chance i can glue it or where can i get new one from? if i leave it as it is, can it demege anything? cheers

I've used silicone in the past just to stop air leaks from cracks etc, if you use black you shouldn't notice it either.

carb cleaner is very good. best with engine on at high revs.

i took mine off & blasted it with parrafin!
