Hi,

I am so bored of my IS200 Sport the accelration bugs the hell out of me!

So I have been looking at cars and have not come up with anything I like other than the GS300.

Could someone tell me how much it costs to fill one up and how many miles they get on a full tank also how much service costs are.

Also as the spec sheet is not working was the difference between the sport, s and se ?

I am looking at the MKII.

Cheers

A supercharged IS200 is quicker than a stock GS300 (0-62mph, not top end.) B)

IS200 with s/c 7.3 secs 0-62mph
GS300 8.2 secs 0-62mph

Ahhh.. but when you come to sell the car, you can remove the S/C and sell it, and recover some of the expenses...

Might help if I had 4 grand in the first place to buy one.

There is a spreadsheet somewhere in the Gold forum that outlines cost per mile for every Lexus model.. and breaks down into fuel costs/servicing/depreciation etc..

Have a look, it should answer your question..

Thanks. :D

I usually got about 26-28 to the gallon from the GS300 especially on longer runs, less round the town. Costs about £45 to fill it up.
Now have a 430 which I am getting 24 to the gallon from - but it's worth it for the extra push in the back !
Both are great cars and fantastic cruisers B)
