I have a Mk1 Gs300, the cd unit in the boot loads and closes cd's but when pressing cd button on headunit nothing happens no messages or cd's load, is this fixable any advice welcome.

Stupid question..are all the CD's the right way up?

Thanks yes cd's in the right way, its almost as if a connection between head unit and player has broken, as cd loads and ejects and you can here it flicking through cd's on loading, but nothing shows on headunit at all, any ideas?

And the cds are loaded in the cartridge playing side up not lable side up for sure?

Yes tried loading cd's label and down,but no response from head unit its a 12 disc changer if that helps with any ideas. Would it be worth disconnecting battery or leads at back of unit in boot, grasping at straws just strange that it loads and ejects but no functiona t all at head unit.
