Hi
I'm a new owner of a 2002 SC430 with 37000 miles. Should I have the cam belt changed and, if so, anything else with it? Is it possible to check it for wear first?
Thanks for any advice.

Yep your due on age. 8 years in UK, for some reason its 6 years in US. Not sure if anything else is required ie waterpump etc. Maybe ask on the LS forum, as more LS430 here then SC's.

[font="Comic Sans MS"]Hello,
Just to show we read all the forums,-- The belt change on the LS430 is 100k/10years. I have no idea why it should be any different on the SC as I assumed it was the same engine.

Thanks. That's helpful. Is that regardless of mileage?
