Visited my local dealer today and was told that the GS430 sport will be available in the next couple of weeks. I know there has been an 'almost' sport for the last couple of years but they now have the suspension modifications as well as the cosmetic ones.

The dealer showed me the article in an internal Lexus news publication. It also stated that a GS300 will also be available. Prices are £35,000 - £42,000. I guess these prices do not include sat. nav. which will put the price of the 430 to £44,500!

yes this has been a plan for a while, it is a co-operation between LGB and TTE

I drove the GS430 at a recent Open Road event - what a fantastic car

hmm I have enjoyed the GS430 "with Sport Pack" before now, and it is a truely nice drive. I think its a shame they don't offer the 430 with the tiptronic option though...

I wonder if that is why they are making a 300 available...?

I'd need long hands to reach £44k in my pocket for anything short of a Bentley or Vanquish though... Sorry. Oh yeah, I guess I'd pay it for a house too...
