Hi, Does anyone know if the Is300 headlights are different than Is200 headlights, and/or is there any reason why they couldn't be interchangeable?

A quick search turned up [url="http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=46999"]this thread[/url] which would seem to suggest you can do it if you don't mind trimming metal from the inside of your wings... But they aren't directly interchangeable apparently.

Hmmm I'd rather not have to cut metal away AND have to swap them at MOT time too...but I do want the darker look + halo's. Someone over here needs to get manufacturing them!!!!

Easy enough to get the darker look but I'm not fond of halos myself... You can split the lights open in your oven and simply paint the interior black, indicators can be detangoed at the same time.

I was too lazy to do that, though so I bought a set someone had already done:

some is200's from 2005ish had darker headlights as standard, they are available from the dealers at about £115 each side
