Problem with this type of hobby is all of have to be subjected to it including my kids when the bass box brigade leave the pubs and clubs at 11.30 at night and drive past my house with it on full blast.

The article clearly states that the stereo is useless when driving as it is desinged to produce a one pitched sound.

Also states that there is not much noise coming out of the vehicle as that would reduce the amount of sound inside the vehicle, the less sound that escapes the better....

With the volumes that these things produce you really would not want to be inside the vehicle when it was turned on...

At the end of the day it is no different from modding your car, it's a obby which he enjoys and although personlly I think it is stupid you have to repsect the amount of time and money these guys put into getting it just right.

I can see what you are saying and my comment was not directly aimed at this bloke and his hobby but at the whole point of packing your car out with enough speakers to supply a concert at wembly stadium just to be able to say i am the loudest .I mean come on how many people have been sitting in their garden on a nice sunny day and you can hear mr corsa comming from the next town with his bass up full blast if it was your neighbour playing his hi fi you would soon be banging on the wall.

he would be better using comercially available explosive as Semtex, will draw the atentions of the security forces
