Just had my W Reg GS300 3 Weeks and turning into work today had a knocking from the front left corner.

Pulled up and found all 5 spokes on the Front Left Wheel had cracks in them, 2 of them were clean through.

Went to fit spare and realised that 4 spokes were cracked on this.

Has anyone come across this before as the private garage I use said it could only
be a manufacturing fault but Lexus say they have never come across this before.

Not sure now if I am safe just replacing the 2 cracked ones or if I need to replace the complete set.

Cheers

It might be an idea to ask the person you purchased it from what happened.

Thanks but it was purchased from a garage who got it from another garage that had take it as a part exchange.

There was no visible signs of damage to the wheel on the car before it failed this morning.

Asked my local garage if it could have been a fault on the car that had caused it to fail but they're sure it wasn't.

The spoke are repairable, if it helps.

If you bought it from a garage they should sort it out FOC unless you bought it as a "trade purchase".
