Hi. Had my IS200 for a few months now from new and really enjoying it. However, a few things are a bit annoying and I wondered if anyone else experienced them.

1. Filling up with fuel. pump keeps cutting out and I end up having to gently hold the nozzle out of the filler pipe and squeezing trigger very slowly. Takes ages to fill up !
2. Squeaky seats
3. On braking. soft and hard, to a stop wheels veer quite sharply to left or right. (have checked tyre pressure but that's all)
4. That boot light! What is it, like 1w !?

Sorry I'm not being more technical but any comments or suggestions would be welcome.

thanks

Welcome to the club mate :)

With point 1.. it don't put the nozzle all the way in, leave it 1/2 inch out, and it should be fine.

2. A couple of members have this problem, have a read of this thread, if you car is still under warranty, take it to your dealer..

3. Hmmm, is your car new or old? if it's a few years old you may want to check for warped discs..

Ian.

1. It has to be about 2-3 inches to not cut out
2. That's great thanks I'll check those known hot spots.
3. New November 2002

thanks again for your reply.

One more question. Anyone know how I can delete a duplicate post from the forum. I searched on help and couldn't find anything.

As far as the fuel nozzle goes, turn the handle upside down and see how you get on

Hi there & welcome :D

1. I push the handle/trigger part of the pump down, so angling the nozzle up - seems to work ok.

4. Ah yes, the 1W bulb is standard. If you want to actually see what's in the boot when it's dark, you have to order the Xenon boot light upgrade kit & special heavy duty truck battery to run it! :whistling:
