Thinking of getting a T610 - fed up with my T68.

Anyone used one of these?

Does the LOC collective have any opinions / feedback?

Can't comment on the T610... but the Nokia I got is fantastic (Tri-band too!)..

My dad has just bought a T610. I think it's an excellent looking phone and seems very easy and simple to use as well. The photo quality is good for fun piccies. He walks around with his bluetooth ear piece and loves it. He has also just ordered a bluetooth car kit for it as well.

According to him, it's the best phone he's ever had B)

cool!

would be interested in his experiences with te car kit, as my existing bluetooth headset is kaput, so thinking of getting the full kit, especially with the changes coming in December

concerned about the new legislation clamping down on headsets too - hence looking a full in car kit.

I think he has the car kit fitted sometime next week. Will let you know how well it works.

Hi Matt

i owned a T68i and thought it was the bees knees with its colour screen and bluetooth and camera attachment the pictures weren't that bad but had nothing to compare them to but didn't like how the camera fitted on kept catching it and ripping it off.Looked around and found the T610 bought it and never looked back the screen is crisp and sharp as is the pictures even with its type of zoom lens it has and the type of pictures with night mode and black and white even takes pictures in negative format, the sounds are great but only two games and i like the picture attachment you can put to peoples number like the T68 did but these come up even when people text you and is a lot faster on the net,got one of the ringtones and games discs off ebay and downloaded some good tunes and games but had to get a bluetooth receiver to download them as a cable is not available or i haven't found one yet.
Need a case for it but haven't found one of them yet apart from them uv clear ones
The only down side of the phone for me it that the camera button is on the side and easily turned on if not on key lock
apart from that i think its a great phone but these days something better will me along in a few months

hope this helps

I got converted to Ericsson (from Nokia 2110, 6110 then 7110) when the T28S price came down to reasonable levels. I moved on to the T39M and now to the P800, great phones and the Ericsson car kit is the same one right through, just had to buy the new holder (£15) for the P800. Looked and played with the T610 it is also a great phone, but the P800 does it for me with the organiser functions!

Go for the Ericsson car kit though I find the Bluetooth headset is not really reliable enough on "auto" mode and flattens the phone battery if left on "on" mode, though I do have an HBH-60 (having also owned the HBH10 and HBH 30 headsets) for my wife's car.

If you have the proper car kit you can switch to headset mid call, try that with a bluetooth car kit!

Justin.
