while waiting for the water pump they have left my car ignition on as you can't take the key out in neutral. not sure why they have left it in neutral to change the water pump but there you go...

wanted to eject my cd cartridge and found it didn't even have the power to do that. now the car aint on and the key is just in on the 1st or second position. WHY has the battery drained? if they let i drain fully the radio will need a code and LEXUS will want to charge me for that! I'll be very ****** off if they don't pay for it to be fixed!

More importantly, will this have shortened the life of my battery? I have NEVER had any probs with the battery and would not want to have to change it as a result of someone elses f k up!

ANy ideas?

Errrr, Maybe it was something to do with the ignition being on for a couple of hours or so, while they changed the pump??????
