Just looking at renewing my insurance and apparenlty need to know the exact model of immobiliser and alarm in my lexi

Its on a V plate btw.

never been asked for the exact model - have always just stated that it has the standard, factory fitted alarm and immobiliser - and I have had quite a few quotes.


what did you say last time you insured it?

you dont need it, tell your insurance company to get of there ****s and go look at the cars spec's where it will be stated what cat alarm it has

It was on Churchills online quote generator I just picked a random toyota one, and the quote was £200 higher than my current insurance (Esure)

Called the LOC gold insurance company but no repy to the voicemail I left them.

The details are in the back of the 2001 (and later i assume) owners handbook.
There's make, model, EU approval etc for alarm, immob + motion sensor.

I also have a 2000 handbook and they're not in that one ...
