Due to the rather wonderful weather we've been having, I'#ve noticed something that happens when you use the air con....

Up both sides of the front windscreen pillars, there is a coating of, well, I've no idea, that goes all the way up from the bottom to the top of the windscreen. It wipes off very easily, but appears after just a couple of hours of air con...

To clean the screen, I've used both window lene and some halfords wax stuff, with no difference. It still reappears!

Any ideas?

it is just the everyday dirt and grime that is in the air - have a look at you aircon filter ( behind the glovebox - look in workshop on how to get to it)bet its really dirty. to prevent this i got a charcoal filter element from my dealer - but am not sure if they do that type in the UK???

yeah I get that sort of white (ish) milky colour residue down the edges on mine. Bit of a pain really.

Took filter out last night (real easy) and hoovered it, didn't look that much better!

Think its just a fact of life!
