Hi. Does anyone know if the spark plug gaps should be altered to suit GS300 MK 1 with LPG conversion. Have heard that they should be reduced?? Also, are the Bosch 'equivalent` plugs suitable? Or will they give me problems. (Bosch plugs just been fitted by non-Lexus garage).

The best thing you can do is not fit a gas conversion to a Lexus cause they have been known to burn out valves amongst other things.

Hi. My Lexus has covered some 40K with this gas conversion - with no problems whatsoever. Considerable savings with LPG at 29p per. litre. No noticable changes in performance if switched from petrol to gas. This conversion fitted proffessionaly mind - not one of these bodge jobs!!

Back to the plugs. Lexus recommend a gap reduction of 0.2mm from the norm.
