does any one know if you can buy brake dust covers for my 300 sport rims as im getting peed off with washing them 3 times a week?also i discovered today that the aa have started a new insurance policy for tyres for a one off payment of £36(or 2 x £18) they will pay the 1ST £100 pounds per tyre if they are slashed or beyond repare due to punctures, sounded good to me took out policy straight away i hope theres no dodgy small print i was told a van would come out and change the tyres straight away.

there are plastic disc covers you can purchase from all good motor factors.
the policy sounds a good un.....will look into that myself
hmmmmm, once the tyres reach the limit....slash em and claim
Maybe not the solution you are lookng for, but EBC Green stuff pads are famous for not creating a lot of dust. GOt them on mine with spotted/grooved discs and just cleaned her after a 650mile bedding in session... they are very good stoppers but leave little or no dust...

Be careful with wheel covers as they can restrict airflow to the brakes. Can cause brake fade or warp the discs. Even different wheels can cause problems on some cars - for example the Supra TT wheels have a spoke design which draws air onto the brakes to aid cooling.
