Ok we're looking at a Southern meet around Sunday the 21st Septmeber (dat could change if people can't make this date as in early stages....

We'll be meeting at the Barley Mow Pub in Dogmersfield (J5 M3 +5mins), the Land Lord is a superb matey who loves his cars and has already said we can have a smuch of the Car Park as needed, the food and drink is reasonable and the local roads superb....

Am thinking of a get together, some food and a drink and then a blat through the quiet Hampshire roads for those that want to play. Can even arrange a cheaper set menu for an evening meal if enough people interested or find another pub...

So far the people who have shown an interest are...

A lot of peeps can't make the Satruday which is why we opted for the Sunday to allow more people to come, 13 TOC members is superb for a mini meet, the largest signup for TOC ever (obviously not including JAE).
simonskippy
I'll be there if someone (Zee?) is coming this way and can pick me up - the car will still be in the shop ;-(

the haynes museum is on sun the 21st september
the toc /loc mini meet was set for the same day

how far is the pub from the museum ??

i must admit to having visited the museum about ten years back, and was very impressed
it has a good variety of old and new cars, and a lot of unusual / rare ones
Chris.S
Count me in if they're on the 21st.

yes ive read it now, twice in fact
my point was /is, why not combine the two

museum morning, pub afternoon/evening

much like the go kart event turned out

saves two journeys ,and too much organisation as it was allready set to go

confusion was, that the museum date changed?
rhaines
Sparkford is 80 miles from my mates pub, although the pub could be used on the way back up north for most people as close to the M25 & M3, what do people reckon ?

So whsat does everyone want to do shall I arrange ameet for the following weekend or shall we do an afternoon run up to the pub for an evening meal ?
rhaines
14 from TOC and only 2 from LOC, could this be the first meet that TOC outway LOC members by a massive margin biggrin.gif

Will give it a couple of weeks before booking the pub for the 28th September...
Chris.S
So it's two different meets now is it ?
rhaines
two different meets as 80-90 miles between the two of them and not everyone likes driving for ages unfortunately...
