guys, been moddin my motor again, (on the cheap, of course)
I got a little happy with the chrome spray I found in the garage, was a little bored too.
Let me know what you think!
Oh, by the way before anyone asks, yes the thing under the trac panel is a cd holder, its out of a w202, c-class merc, fits in okay too, looks factory, priced it up at the dealers, its a fortune, so got it out of a car from the scrap yard. Works well too.
Blue Peter really rubbed off on me.....aaah Tracy island.
Pictureand around steering wheel and dash tray bit!

Good job mate
It looks good even if I think it is a bit to shiny, but that's my own taste

cheers mate, thought it would look odd cos it does not match car, looks okay though, but the dash tray reflects on to the inside of the widscreen which is sometimes a little annoying, ha, ha.
the spray is just from any car shop like halfords, dont know the make, and have had it like that for months, sprayed loads of thin coats and it does not seem like it will come off (i hope!)

That's the problem with clear colored dashboards and it is worse when it is reflective like white or clear gray

Did you took the dash off for painting or did you just mask the parts that you didn't want to paint ?

had to remove all the parts, all were easy apart from the dash tray thing, was stuggling for ages!!!

i did that stuff on my computer and some of it has started to rub off, esp with the heat and stuff
but then again the paint i used was $2 from the local bargain shop....converts to bout 60-70 pence...i think thats the right conversion
just 2/3 of a pound ( i dun have the silly pound symbol on my keyboard )
but yeh, go over it with a thin coat of lacquer that might help avoid the ruboff
