I have a GS300 'L' reg & I have a number of electrical problems, the first being an error on the CD where it wouldn't play & the cassette refused to eject. This was followed by the air conditioning apparently working OK but no cooling effect, I had this recharged last year, it appeared ok but less efficient & now the whole central console, which includes all stereo functions, air con, fan, front cigarette lighter, mirror control, rear fog lights etc to stop working. The fuses are all intact & so is the wiring loom, is it wired with modules & if so where is it & anybody know the replacement part number. Obviously the CD & air con could be separate problems. Any pointers?????

Hi, i had a similar problem. i took my after market stereo out then connected ignition positive (red wire) directly to the battery wire (yellow). And now it works. Only problem is it stays on all the time, so i added a on off switch. Hope this is of help.
