I take it your coming for longer than a day, or even a couple of days?
The ferry companies seem to make their money that way, charging people that want to go for 5+ days a fortune.

If you are coming over to visit TDi, Try to make it in early october for the Bluewater meet.

Nice... What date is it being done? Also will you be flying back from City airport or Stanstead? City Airport is very close to TDi.
You never know I may be able to gove you lift to airport.

I don't know of a way of getting a cheaper crossing for 7 days. They seem to have got wise to people booking 2 separate day trips as they say they will charge your credit card with the full single fare amount.

it is actually cheaper to go UK to Fr than it is FR to UK! this i have found many times.
What made you decide to go to the UK? - i thought you were getting the kit posted to you.

Hi,
I have heard of many people who travel one way with P&O and come back Sea France on day trip rates. Wouldn't do it myself naturally but who has ever been challenged? The giveaway is how loaded your car is. If you are full to the brim with luggage etc you are unlikely to be making a day trip!

if you only travel one way , on a day trip ticket
the likes of p&o will charge the weekly rate and take it off the credit card
