Need some new tyres rather soon, has anyone tried Pilot Sports? What are they like?
Short of that I'll be going for the Goodyear Eagles, but I always liked the Michelins on my last car

I'd reccomend the Dunlop SP9000's, a great all round tyre..

I found the Pilot Sports to be an excellent tyre (when I had my 17's) but a very soft compound. I burnt through them in not time. As Ian Saya, the Dunlops were great, as were the Eagles.......

I have Pilot Sports on the front and Pilot Primacy on the back.
Happy with them both so far. I have been told that they weather better than most tyres, but only time will tell.
BTW got mine complete with fitting etc for £115 each.
The sports also seem to have a fairly good rim protector on them.

I have recently replaced Dunlop Sport Sp3000 with Pilot Primacys on the rear, and they don't seem to be any worse than the dunlops. Same noise level, but definitely less grippier even in dry. However, they are very, very hardwearing tyres. Michelin website illustrates that they are used on Audi A8s, other luxury cars.
