just been out playing with a type r civic. friday night motorsport, had the old supercharger spinning a bit. i was right behind him all the way there was no escape. ( speed limit was not exceded whilst playing )

i think it's about 205bhp, its a standard is200 apart from the s/charger. he was like a nodding dog, kept on looking in his mirror and there was me right up his back end (so to speak)

He is probably use to blowing away standard IS200s, must have suprised him that one could keep up. Still he is driving a car that is £8,000 cheaper.

Bit odd too - the CTR has 200bhp and is several hundred kgs lighter ..... plus has a much sportier set up for handling the twisties ........ perhaps he wasn't up for playing on the roads, or wasn't a confident driver!? Not really a method for comparing cars - only which one has the biggest nut at the wheel!
