what day ??

Hi,

Sorry I won't be making this, but if you're looking for recommendations for Sunday lunch, I recommend this place, though it's been a while since I was last there.

Saracen's Head, Little Brington

It's a couple of miles the opposite side of J16 from your hotel. It can also be quite busy
for Sunday lunch so you may want to book.

Alternatively, you could all cruise down the A5 further and take a pleasant drive out to Stoke Bruerne where there's a larger pub next to a canal: very pretty. There's also a large convenient pub there called the Navigation that has a large car park.

Have fun,
Nige

i asked this question just before the big crash , but never got a reply, those of us who are coming up on sunday ,are we expected to bring along a prezzie,
also if you do decide to go to stoke bruen and no one knows the way i will gladly take you there , would be quite a nice convoy, it would be a drive of about 12miles

I can't believe there is a meet near me and instead I am down in Essex at my parents.

I will try to let my dad know to see if he can make it in his Lex.
If not then I will try to spend time in getting him onto the site.
Bobski
I'm not sure i will be able to make any plans :(

Have a few problems going on at the moment, and the other half is sposed to be going on a hen night on the 6th.

Whens the deadline Bazza?

there are provisional bookings at both venues
so if a few more turn up i am sure they will make room

so no deadlines, other than getting there before we start eating!!
SteveAudioX
What time are you staring Bazza... I am setting off early to check into the hotel..

I provisionally plan to leave the car somewhere and Cab it or walk it to the Tgi's...

What is a good time for an early drinking session?

:)

hi guys , have no fear i will be sticking to and if not below all the relevent speed limits ,as difficult as that may be , i want to present both the club and the convoy to have the maximum effect as we pass through towcester ,i do not intend to go through northampton, as much as i would like to ,but i think due to the number and frequency of the traffic lights i would probably come out the otherside with very few companions or some with a few extra points on their licence, there is however quite a nice straight stretch of road going into shutlanger ,might open her up a bit there :D but as its the pretty route ,we'll see :winky:
rhaines
I can't amke this one as currently having no car :(

Still waiting on a quote for repairs and after that they will need to source parts...
SteveAudioX
Judy got the 2 KrisCringle pressies..

Very nice indeed.. All wrapped up ready to go.. :)

your objection is noted, counsel, and overruled!

Can't make you wear one, Colin, but I think it would lend a great feastive theme to the evenings proceedings...

Can we get a poll?
