Try directline, they seem to be good with Lexus, but NO mods what so ever

Norwich Union (if you can stand the time delay talking to a sales person in India). By taking a £525 excess the premium was under £500 with 5 yrs+ NCB. Eagle Star were not far behind.

That's a big excess. Mine is £500 at the moment but that was because I changed car. I think the GS300 cost me around £440 with a £200 XS then I changed my car to a GS430 which only cost me another £25 for the 10 months remaining but the XS went up another £300.

I have just done my RX300 with Lexus for £220 cheaper than Eagle Star and very similar cover.

Have now looked up the paperwork. I changed my car three times in eight weeks so it took some working out but I have now done the sums and I paid £385.96 with one additional driver and protected NCB for my GS300SE. I agree that a £520 excess is hefty but I suppose you pays your money and takes your choice. Incidently Norwich Union are also pretty good for grey imports, I paid £457.71 for a Mitsubishi FTO GR Auto (£520 excess) which was much cheaper than anyone else I could find.
