Any one used a Jabra BT200 bluetooth with a Sonyericsson T610
coz i cant get mine to work.

The phone will only give the option to turn on/off bluetooth
so it cant find which one i've got.

Im now thinking that its not compatible with my phone.......(carphone warehouse dont you love em)

not used this particular combo - but having had two BT headsets for my T68 - the SOP is


1 - choose the "Pair Device" option from your phones menu

2 - Hold down the "button" on the headset for around ten seconds, until it makes sme kind of tone - this is effectively putting the headset into pairing mode.

3 - when the phone picks up the device, answer YES to "Add to Paired Devices" question - passkey will be in the destructions - normally something like 0000


that should be pretty much it - which bit are you having problems with?

go to blue tooth menu
then go to handsfree option

you may find that turning on bluetooth will give you access to more options

Aahh this is the problem "Pair Devices" does'nt show on the menu.......im getting nothing!!

may not do mate - but it is on my SE T68 - surely the menus would be similar?



have you tried turning BT on, then checking for this sorta option?

Tried handsfree.......no go

The only options that come up when b/tooth is on and you go into options is:

Visibility
phone name
Phone service

you must be able to make your phone discoverable - its useless otherwise - is there a "discoverable" sorta option?

and the good stuff is in there

on mine its
menu
connectivity,select
bluetooth
turn on/off>my devices>handsfree>options

if we can wait till morning pete - one of the guys in the office has a t610 - I'll play with his phone and see if I can suss it

from t610 manual:

to add a bluetooth handsfree to your phone:
1.scroll to connectivity, bluetooth, handsfree, my handsfree, new handsfree.
2. select ADD

Hey...Hey Success,
Trotted off to the local C/W,told them my troubles i had with the phone and.........voila !!!
all is working fine now

The problem was it was a faulty one that had slipped through Q.control so gave me a new one,
set it up and all is hunky dory

Dont set up in the shop,you'll be there ages as it picks up all B/tooth devices
