Does anyone know of an STB that fits the 98 GS300?
Thanks in advance.

TRD, toms, Cusco, Rod Millen and others all do front strut braces for the GS.

most are designed for the Aristo TT and so many may not the GS300.

can we hear testimony as to the value of a strut brace on the Mk2 GS please?
I'd consider one if they are not stupid money. gotta save for the Aston....

People in the US say they make a difference, not as much as new anti-roll bars though. The lower chassis braces also make a different on the GS as in standard form has quite a bit of flex in it.

I got some new sway bar bushing from an US company and am planning to install them on my car. People in the US say that only these bushing will give some improvement, since the original bushing are relatively soft (and in my case, old since my car is a 98), so I thought why not try them.
After this (probably end of December) I will try to install an aluminium STB and will post my findings on this part.

The STB's designed for the Aristo V300 do not fit the GS300, something to do with the engine being to high I think.

Have a read through this:
http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread...&threadid=90113I would think the RMM and UGO will fit and maybe the TRD one as you won't have a cover on a 1998 model.

Richard,
let me know about any parts you want. A new supplier was offering me a STB for approx. Euro 135 and told me that it should fit.
Also, I will receive some sets of GS300/400/Aristo grilles very soon, and will post some pics of them soon.
Send me a pm.
