I'm looking for a hand here. I'm from the US, and I'm looking to drop a 2JZ-GTE into a GS300. Apparently Toyota has done this for me already:) However the Vertex isn't a US spec car. The big question is this.

Do I have a wrecked Vertex shipped stateside and pull parts into a US spec GS300?
Can I get a left hand drive vertex?
Should I just buy the motor/tranny/ecu from a vertex and drop it into the US Spec GS300?
Is there, was there a Vertex with a manual transmission? If so, what years?

I've tried to source this info myself but Vertex info is a bit elusive.

For what its worth my neighbor in the US has a website called http://www.t04r.com where they showcase 1000HP supra's. So I'm looking for a 1000hp Saloon:)

Thanks,

They dont make a left hand drive Vertex as there Jap only not exported! Would it not be easier to get a vertex imported whole and put up with sitting on the right side then tune that?
Dont know the implications of putting a vertex engine in a GS300 but i would say it would be a lot of work.
