I had a 2003 se while mine was being serviced and i really liked the mats it had in there
they were black with LEXUS Written in white on them
they looked fantastic
so I want some of them for my 99 se

2001 ONWARDS MATS

Pre 2001 are very similar except the writing is slightly different and only have one hole for securing peg

will the new mats fit my 99 car ok?

Should do, you'll just have a spare hole in the drivers mat

There will be nowhere in your carpet to fit a second clip as the pre 2001 only have one hole.

I want some mats but if they are £85 wouldnt it work out cheaper to go to a dealer and use gold discount which would make it about £72? (my car is pre 2001 by the way) I dont understand, someone please explain!

You're quite welcome to go to your local Lexus Centre ond purchase them, I cannot get them any less than that as there isn't much of a margin in them from what Lexus supply them to Centres at.

with 15% off, they would be 25p dearer than Chris!!!! So no it wouldn't be cheaper.

I have the 2001 style mats in my 2000 model.
The mats come with an extra retaining clip supplied, which just screws into the carpet where the second hole should be...

are they the same mats or better design mate

I can't recollect seeing the older type, but the new ones are very thick and plush. (Besty, they'll weigh your car down mate.... don't get em.... )

Although mine only has the one hole, I would like to definately order a set of Black POST 2001 (2001 on) matts. I can then put a proper clip in one side and the screw thing the other. Stops it twisting then!!

Don't suppose theres any chances of getting it sent early!!???

Can I get a set of Pre 2001 spec mats (Beige) please and I really need these ASAP if poss as I have just had my car valeted and the garage where I have bought the car from has supplied me with mats that don't do the car any justice They are still in the boot as I refuse to put them in If it is possible to get these before Jan I would greatly appreciate it please let me know so that I can arrange payment and also what methods of payment you will accept.
