I'm looking for a compressor for the newes model of rx300 (2003). I know that TTE has a compressor for the previous model of rx300, but it doesn't match this 2003 model -because of few difrences, e.g. air intake...

could you give me some information, where can I find compressor for the newest model of rx300.

One more thing: engine numbers are the same in both rx models (1MZFE), but there are difrent engines...

The engines are the same, just a few modifcations which is why the engine number is the same.

I don't know if TTE are going to update their compressor to fit the new model. Have you contacted them?

TTE told me a few weeks ago that about 70% of the RX300 compressor kit parts are direct fitment, but are working on the rest of the kit. They said it may be possible to adapt the RX300 kit but cannot confirm it

I thought the latest RX300 was a V6 rather than a straight-6 of the orginal?

They both have the same V-6

exactly, but I don't know why they changed this engine. I will be cheaper for them not to create new kompressor kits, or other parts...

TTE don't have any say whether Toyota redesign their engines or not. All Toyota engines are improved every few years. The latest engine has more power with better economy whilst producing less emissions. It also now complies with the 2005 EURO IV emissions standard.

Their answer
