Just got back from dealer,said that my front brake pads were 88% worn and the back were 80% worn. I have only had the car 2 months and done under 2000 miles. Service guy said he would have to refer it to the general manager. What are my chances of getting new pads for free? As i think this is an unexceptable amount of wear for the car to be sold with.

Should get them replaced free.

Normally it's the mechanic not looking properly. I've been told so many times that my pads are low and when I look they are only half worn!

Yeah i think if they don't replace them there is something too be said. Should find out in next couple of days.
