dont know anywhere that does forged pistons, my old 1g-fe lump had the pistons and rods from a 1g-gte. 1 bar should see you past 250bhp easily. i made 320bhp+ @ 1bar

ive got a set of standard pistons and rods here for a 1g-fe, il see if i can dig them out the garage if you like?. they are used though.

if your seriously planing a JZ convertion once you have priced it up, double that amount and thats close to what it will cost. trust me im well over budget on mine already!

defently been hit by something, im going to say a white car or more than likely! a van!! sorry to hear of your missfortune though. most of that would come out with a machine polish too take your eye away from it but if you are already getting a TTE bumper its a bit pointless!

*Cough* *Cough* This is my car on 18x8 Et30 and 18x9.5 Et10! dont be so sure everyone ;) you can run as aggresive set up a you want aslong as your willing to do arch mods, camber adjustments and tyre stretches to say the least! trust me ive been there and got the postcard on other cars ive owned. these will go on with ALOT of tweeking!!

im not sure if i understand what you mean, has the whole mirror come off the screenscreen complete? if so they are double sided taped on mate. can get cut to size tape from halfrauds or such

have someone push down on the bonnet and jerk it up while someone else pulls the lever... sometimes frees them if they get stuck or are slack. :)

not that i know of chap, Was running ok and out of boost when it went. didnt hit boost for about 50miles as was crusing on the motorway in the middle of the night. Here are some pictures after i washed it before i took it too southend..... ah the memories haha!!

simon got in contact with me this morning and we started to make progress to getting it back up to them to be sorted. sourcing parts atm so they have everything before it goes back up again as cant deal with another long build time. I think simon is as gutted as me that it has happened. Part of me wishes i had gone down the 2jz route but ive done far to much to go back now, im just hoping once its sorted it will be happy motoring. thanks yeldarb il keep it in mind :)

Yeah the car made no noise at all, just a little splutter and no power. i took it out of gear and the car died. there where alot of bits of what i beleive to be the spark plug remains in the chamber, Yes that was my IS in there being sorted. thanks for all the comments guys, im going to speak to charlesworth motors tomorow morning and get it sorted. Somethings obivously not be done right or gone wrong for this to happen..... i could spend all day trying to do it myself but lets be honest ive spent my money to have the job done so why should i? il keep you all posted but as it stands i really have got fed up with it all so im open for serious offers on the car....

guessing by the soaked plugs in other cylinders it might of been caused by over fueling. but charlesworth motors told me it had been to noble and checked and all was well.

Ellz: Had a rebuild when it went in last with new seals,gaskets and turbocharger. just had a compression test on cylinder 6 and shows no compression..... back to charlesworth motors it goes for a rebuild!. fed up!!

found out what the problem is spark plugs where drenched in fuel and burnt up but when i looked at cylinder 6 i found this: part of the plug looks like its welded itself to the piston and i can see loads of shards in there. So not impressed at all cus it looks like its off to be rebuilt again after 300miles and having it back on the road less than 48hrs. To me it looks like the piston has struck the plug.

well got some very bad news, i couldnt be more un-happier! after doing 300miles scince picking the car up it has decided to give up. Broke down on the side of the m25 after loosing engine power and stalling. car wont start unless you pump the throttle but gives of emense noise and stinks strongly of fuel. nothing seems to be leaking and when it cut out made no noise. even worse to the point i just had to cough up for recovery to collect the car as my maximum usage was up with the RAC... hmmmm. really not impressed! tbh everyone im seriously thinking about selling up as im getting to the point when i feel its just not worth it anymore.
