  1. I had the exact same creaking on my IS. Check your lower swivel ball joints ASP. Mine had so much lift in them that my mate who owned a garage that checked the noise out wouldn't let me drive it until they were replaced.
  2. You mention that a diagnostic test shows a misfire across all cylinders!! Is that diagnosis from the Fault code readout or another form of diagnostic test. The fault code is the one to go by.
  3. The shift lock button when depressed and held down allows the gear lever to be moved so the car can be towed or winched onto a breakdown truck if the unthinkable should ever happen. Try moving your gear lever out of park without the ignition on, you should NOT be able to move it!! Then hold the button down and try. Regards and welcome
  4. As the above post says. You need to get the fault code. No good guessing what is wrong, many many things can put the EML on.
  5. Good evening Parthiban Did you do the mod on your mirrors to fold in on lock etc, or was it already done when you got the car. I can only assume that the cables for the switch have been re-routed to the ignition switch. Regards Nick If you search the forum theres a guide to creating your own folding mirrors circuit. you need a timer circuit and some wiring, its fairly simple Thanks Stav. I will search and see if I can come across it Nick

  8. Hi guys Could anyone tell me the best place to get hold of the lift lid and tray that sits where the sat nav goes on the IS200 Cant seem to track one down anywhere Regards
  9. And a welcome from me too
  10. Nice thought but would cost me a fortune running it to London on a daily basis and judging by the way some of the muppets drive, it certainly wouldn't stay in good condition long
  11. Good question. How do you replace an IS ? But already have a Mondeo I use to drive to London daily so will just get a little runaround for the missus to use for work.
  12. Thanks for replying Have no idea if thats right or not Gonna take an average and then possibly sell
