  1. I was following a Silver "53" reg (not brand new shape) BMW 525d along the A127 in Southend last night and it suddenly lit up like a christmas tree I wasn't expecting it - neither was the bloke that he nicked in front of him Watch out people there was no way to tell this was a plodmobile. You have been warned ;)
  2. Shame he didn't spend any money on a decent exhaust system though - those pipes look pony
  3. Looks like they are normally about £400 This link gave me that idea - Midi Moto
  4. The funniest one's aren't publishable in the public forums, so this one will have to do.... A woman brought a very limp duck into a veterinary surgeon. As she laid her pet on the table, the vet pulled out his stethoscope and listened to the bird's chest. After a moment or two, the vet shook his head sadly and said, "I'm so sorry, Cuddles has passed away." The distressed owner wailed, "Are you sure?" "Yes, I am sure. The duck is dead", he replied. "How can you be so sure", she protested. "I mean, you haven't done any testing on him or anything. He might just be in a coma or something." The vet rolled his eyes, turned around and left the room, and returned a few moments later with a black Labrador retriever. As the duck's owner looked on in amazement, the dog stood on his hind legs, put his front paws on the examination table and sniffed the duck from top to bottom. He then looked at the vet with sad eyes and shook his head. The vet patted the dog and took it out, and returned a few moments later with a beautiful cat. The cat jumped up on the table and also sniffed delicately at the bird. The cat sat back on its haunches, shook its head, meowed softly and strolled out of the room. The vet looked at the woman and said, "I'm sorry, but as I said, this is most definitely, 100% certifiably, a dead duck." Then the vet turned to his computer terminal, hit a few keys and produced a bill, which he handed to the woman. The duck's owner, still in shock, took the bill. "£150!" she cried, "£150 just to tell me my duck is dead?!!" The vet shrugged. "I'm sorry. If you'd taken my word for it, the bill would have been £20, but what with the Lab Report and the Cat Scan....." :P
  5. I can understand your frustration and if all you say is true then I sympathise. What you really need to do is inform Trading Standards. You can get him under the Sale of Goods Act and probably a multitude of other things (running a business from home without informing the relevant people etc). Sure you can chase his a$$ all over the net but some direct action with the authorities will do him more permanent damage.
  6. Jeeeeeeeesus :o The video is excellent. Do you think the cars in the garage are part of his collection - nice
  7. I'm glad you managed to find a good Jaguar dealer - I live in Southend and ended up going to H A Fox in Cheltenham to find a decent dealer. :o I seem to have the opposite experience to you though, my local Lexus dealer (Hadleigh) is fantastic whereas any local Jag people have proved to be complete and utter w*****s By the way - go for the Type R - you know it makes sense
  8. That's exactly what they are for - don't know why they didn't just put the reflectors in there in the first place :duh: Hope you enjoy the car Steve - I think you want to get hold of some 10" rears though
  9. Your PC spec is absolutely fine. The spec of your PC isn't that important when it comes to this sort of connectivity. The beauty of Zen is that you aren't tied into a 12 month contract - it's only a month at a time. They have the confidence in their service to not have to tie customers into long contracts - if you like it you stay.....
  10. Go to the Gym for a workout 3 nights a week for the next 6 months - that should help :D :P
  11. That's a shame. People with these sorts of cars should be more careful Check these out :- 550 Maranello 550 Maranello pt 2 Mucielago Murcielago pt 2
  12. My 12 months with BT are up in April and I'll be switching to Zen faster than a fast broadband link :duh: You are only tied into them for a month at a time and you get the added facility of having static IPs - which is great if you work from home and need permanent VPN tunnels etc. BT have been fine but they don't offer a particularly good value for money service.
  13. Check out the Draytek Vigor 2500 - it meets all your requirements, I've installed loads for work and they have been faultless and feature rich. All in price £99 Check out the spec here Draytek 2500
  14. There had to be one mistake in there for someone to pick up or there wouldn't be ammo for the 27 (now 26 - thanks GreyBeard) to point out the grammar errors :P That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it ;)
  15.
