Hi, can someone please tell me where it would be the cheapest for me to get a replacement key and remote fob for the 97 gs300 se. I only have 1 set of keys for this car, and i think i have some sort of certificate which gives the details of the car key code. What price does a lexus dealership charge for this? Or would i be cheaper if i join the gold club???? Please help.

[bDear Lexus owners. My father has an imported Lexus Ls400 95 (M) plate. He has had this car for almost 3 years now. Although it has a 4 litre engine, it hardly uses any fuel. The fuel economy is even better than my 1.8 litre C180 Elegence MERCEDES. He has now just bought a 98 UK GS300 SE ® Plate.I must say the 3 litre GS300 uses far more petrol than the LS400. WHY? The GS300 gives about 250 miles combined for £50 petrol. Whereas the Ls400 gives about 400 miles for the same petrol. Is it something to do with the LS being an import, or is it because the 4 litre engine is more refined? or is it simply that the uk GS300 is maybe heavier in weight? Please help me. Nadeem.

HI ALL, I WANT TO MAKE A BACKUP OF THE NAVIGATION CD IN MY 99 IS200, I WANT TO USE THE BACKUP COPY ONLY AND NOT THE ORIGINAL. I AM TOLD IT IS LEGAL TO MAKE 1 BACKUP. CAN SOMEONE POLEASE TELL ME WHAT PROGRAM WILL ALOOW ME TO DO THIS? I TRIED USING NERO, IT COPIED FILES THAT IT SAID WHERE COPYWRITED, BUT HOWEVER THE BACKUP COPY DID NOT WORK. PLEASE HELP.

HI, I HAVE AN LS400 M-95 IMPORT. MY DASHBOARD AND CONSOLE LIGHTS HAVE STARTED TO FLICKER AND NOW ARE MOSTLY OFF. I SUPPOSE IT IS OK TO DRIVE IN THE DAY, BUT AT NIGHT IT IS VERY DIFFICULT BECAUSE I HAVE NO LIGHTS IN THE DASH AND ON THE HEATER/AUDIO CONTROLS AND GEARSTICK. SOME DAYS IT WORKS BUT MOSTLY NOT. I THINK THE NAVIGATION SOFTWARE IS A WEE BIT OUT COS IT SOMETIMES MAKES ME REACH THE DESTINATION THE LONG WAY ROUND. I THINK THE SOFTWARE MAY BE THE ORIGINAL 1998 VERSION. COULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHERE I COULD GET THE LATEST NAVIGATION SOFTWARE AT THE CHEAPEST PRICE PLS. ALSO CAN U TELL ME IF THE CD CAN BE COPIED USING A CD WRITER?
