  7. Hello Stu, I had problem with passenger seat not working properly one day I decided to try and sort it,the front seats in a Lexus are so easy to take out four bolts hidden under carpet covered caps that pry off.Just by removing the 2 front bolts enabled me to lean seat back enough to see workings underneath. You can still control seat movements while seat leaning back and you may be able to see why seat is twisting.Hope this is some help mate nothing more annoying than a crap seat in a luxury car, chers Den
  8. Thanks for advice mate it has been most useful, cheers den
  9. Hi, I think I may have a similar problem, loosing power steering fluid and white smoke .My mechanic had a quick look and spotted pipes to airbox but didnt find pressure switch you mentioned,so if you could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated cheers.Den
  10. Hi,Can anyone suggest a suitable CD changer to fill the space in the boot where one used to be.Would any changer be OK or would I have to get one through Lexus dealer? The tape player is great but would nt mind the choice of CDs as well.Any advice appreciated.Cheers
  11. Thanks for the advice and welcome to the club. The screwdriver method works the headrest but the backrest just wont budge.Looks like Ill have to find a fat person with the right type of underpants ,asbestos would be better
  12. Hello,Have just bought my first Lexus and while taking a friend for a spin he decided to adjust tilt of backrest, somehow he managed to break one of the 2 prongs (the top one) that work the seat.I did find the proper knob on the floor later.Annoyingly the seat is now in the extreme upright positon I can still get the headrest to move but no luck with the backrest. Is there anyway of moving it manually even if it meant it been stuck in a more comfortable position that would be something.Any advice would be much appreciated.
