  1. Personally if it was me i would just go for a fixed drop with Eibach springs and uprate to Bilstein dampers...unless you are doing track days...

  3. It sounds alot like the burning smell from the friction plate of the clutch....
  4. I would also say its the battery..it takes alot of power/voltage to turn the car over and the nights/mornings are getting colder...plus all the heaters, demisters, lights etc on can take its toll on the battery if its low....

  6. That Alteeza in the link has the Legana front bumper and the TRD side skirts and rear valance....the Legana bumper is rare as rocking horse poo unless you get it from japan or get a fiberglass one that doesnt always fit well compared to OEM ones.. As for the TRD sideskirts and rear apron/valance im sure you can still get these from lexus but are very costly.....
  7. The Dunlop sport Maxx ( L or JAPAN was desinged for the Lexus after they stopped making the SP9000 ( L ) these had a different sidewall and different compound to the normal sport Maxx.....these are what i had fitted to my IS200 when i had it and they were great tyres....
  8. I can remember it well....i had a 1.4 Ford Orion i got of my brother...was a little nervous even though i passed my test 1st time....then 3 weeks later lost the rear end on a wet bend and scuffed the rear bumper on a wall... soon learned NOT to drive fast in the wet.... :D
  9. No it shouldnt light up...Unless someone has turned the front passenger airbag off.?,,i think you can turn it off...just incase you have a forward facing baby seat...
  10. I used to have mine inflated to 35psi allround
  11. Just double check that you have not bent the metal brake shield/guard behind the disc as it maybe rubbing on the disc...
  12. You may find that because the red stuff pads or other pads are high performance that they wear out the standard OEM discs quicker than OEM pads do.....but it will give you the choice to upgrade the disc`s at a later date.. :)
  13. Why are you trying to burn an MP3 DVD...? whats it for...? OR are you trying to play a copyed dvd on the levinson CD/DVD in car player..?
  14. How horrible and cruel is that..! Its also illegal to do that , you can get fined and 3 points on your license....
  15. Lol, ironic seeing as rim protectors were probably designed mainly for women :shutit: yeah your damn right there matey..!
  16. Yes mate all the gubbins on the left handside....more investigations needed me thinks..!!
  17. I had a friend looking at my car very oddly.....she said to me "theres something wrong with your tyre" so i said "why whats wrong with the tyre"? ....she was on about the size of the rim protection.! she didnt know it was meant to look like that..
  18. Maybe its coming from the passenger airbag..? as its in that area...

  20. Just picked up the new weekly Autocar magazine with the first Driven review of the LFA supercar.... The car in the magazine looks amazing both inside and out....it will cost £340K....but they say its worth it...and some.!! I really.really want one.. :D Click here.. http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/AllCars/244227/
  21. The replacement for the Dunlop SP9000 L was just the standard version SP9000..but then they brought out the Dunlop Sp Sport maxx (japan) version.( extra £10 over normal version)..i had these on my IS200 (rears) 225/40/"18" and they were very good indeed, quiet, wear rate was very good and the grip in the wet and dry was brilliant....and they had a massive rim protection aswell....all in all 9/10.... :D
  22. Falken 451`s are the old model...they have been superseeded by the 452`s.....i think some people say that the Toyo tyres are really good for the IS250 in regards to noise etc.....
  23. Who did you get the geometry re-done by..? Have you managed to speak to tony bones @ WIM...? Try here below. http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/
  24. Well the brakes on my IS200 have plenty of bite to them...they are quite progresive and dont get instant bite at the top ( which is great for stop start town driving ) but the more you press the better they get.. But also check when the brake fluid was changed, also check the pads make sure they are ok thickness wise and that they are not "glazed over "...and just check in general for leaks from the brake pipes etc.... Its like most things when you drive a new car from the one you are used to everything will feel different to start of with...good luck with the search and hopefully the new purchase.... :D There are plenty of good people on here to help you out with your questions... The big problem that all IS200/300 get is the chassis settings ( suspension ) is wrong when they came out from the factory so this WILL cause front or rear INNER tyre wear problems if its not been sorted out already... Type ( tyre wear )in the search section at the top of the page and all will be revealed.... Goto this link below for help with this ( Tony Bones is the man you want ) http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/
