  1. Does anyone have a fully working one for sale? Any idea how much they are to repair and best place to take it? I have checked on ebay and there are none which will fit. Dont want an aftermarket unit as i will be selling the car soon and need to keep it OEM. Thanks
  2. Unfortunately they are cheap enough to pick up now for the scrotes. Time to have a chop of the 200.

  4. Definatly check your ecu extension "black box". How old is the charger conversion? I had the same fault (I think). If it is, you will need a new black box, or an HSK FCD instead. The black box alters the signal to the ecu to allow your standard ecu to run increased boost. If it has malfunctioned then the ecu thinks the pressure is too high. How does the car behave when driven? Are you getting the fuel cutting? (nasty jerky spluttering when ya floor it.) Do the warning lights come on immediatly, or after harder driving? No none of the above. I have had the codes cleared and the problem seems to have gone away. I am keeping an eye on it however. The warning lights have come on whilst the car has been driven slow. The black box has been replaced with a brand new one back last year. The black box are known to fail, i have seen a new on fitted with new kit, car did about 50 - 100 miles when the black box failed :o some last and some dont mate I might get a diagnostic check again toward end of the week. Might have been a one off as they car is now fine.

  6. They wont be able to afford the price hikes. But they are becoming more common sight.
  7. Can someone guide me where to where abouts the throttle body lies? Sorry dont know my way round the engine. Thanks
  8. Had the codes read and what at first i thought was the coil packs has revealed something completely different: P0105-Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Malfunction. P0106-Sensor/barometric pressure (BARO) sensor. Had a quick search of the forums and read of similar problems but no definite answer or solution. My car is charged as well. Wondering if anyone could shed some light on the issue and where these sensors are?
  9. Are these coil packs just a standard toyota part? Is there a part number for them?
  10. Are the spark plugs at the bottom of these black boxes per chance? The coil packs i take it are the black boxes or in them? Also do they start at 1 being the nearest to the radiator?
  11. Absolutely useless with getting around the Lexus, so sorry for posting such a request. Can someone post me a diagram of where to find the coil packs, what they look like etc? Done some reading and replacing them seems quite straight forward.
  12. As the title states the plastic bonnet arm catch (which holds it in place on the underside of the bonnet) is broken. Does anyone know the part no or where i can pick up one cheap?
  13. Did you replacing all that cure it Mac?
