  1. I've had this problem with the offside mirror but at the moment it's okay
  2. Most definitely! Would suggest a couple of bags of sand or rock salt though rather than bricks as a) going round corners it won't tend to damage your boot with flying bricks and B) if you DO get stuck you can use the contents to get out :) This helps a bit but it's still poor IME
  3. Lexus Oxford refixed the panel today.Another IS was also in for the same problem Didn't get charged..unless they've put a bill in the post
  4. Must of hit a ridge of snow or something as one of the underside plastic panels on the passenger side is loose/damaged and was scrapping the ground, had to force it back into position but it looks bent Anyone else had this happen?
  5. I had all sorts of fun this morning sliding about, other vehicles (not 4x4's) didn't seem as badly affected I made the mistake of getting into work today then it starting snowing very heavily so i decided to go home in the worst of it and got stuck several times on several inclines where other cars were managing to get up.I was trying not to stop at all but even then I was still getting stuck Needs more weight in the back to help traction in these conditions
  6. Noticed over the last week or so a vagueness or perhaps some play in the steering on my 07 IS 250 Auto. What might cause this? Tyres are correct pressure and have sufficient tread, noticable in all road conditions.Only done around 8000miles
  7. I have similar wear on inner and outer edges of the fronts but with less miles.I increased thepressure from the recommended 36psi to 37-38psi
  8. I also have a 250 auto and am getting around 27-28mpg but mine are mostly short runs (10-12miles) on country roads (quite alot of braking/acceleration) from a cold start As soon as I start to do longer runs on A roads at constant speed the mpg goes up to 30+
  9. I had the same squeak coming from my driver's seat as you have. Lexus Glasgow acknowledged it straight away, and said they'd get an upholstery company who specialise in cars to fix it. And they did - when I got it back they'd replaced the foam, so no more squeaks, it feels the same and you'd never know they'd had the cover off. Funny that one dealer will take this approach, while the other will replace the whole seat. I have a creaking drivers seat, started about 2 months ago, seems worse in the morning. What's actually causing this?
  10. It is repairable? If so the dealer gets a contractor in to do the work.Does anyone know who they use? I had a minor scuff repaired and the company came from Birmingham
  11. I don't think it's a 'recall'.I've just had a service and they just replaced the battery in mine
  12. I went in for a service today and the dealer suggested increasing the pressure on the fronts by 1 or 2 psi to try and combat the outer wear.
  13. I have Toyo's on mine and I am experiencing wear on both outer and inner edges (but not the middle) of the fronts, rears are okay.I have checked pressure and they were at 36psi. Should I try going to say 37-38psi on the front to try and counteract this wear?
  14. I still don't feel the gearbox is as smooth as the 5 speed in the RX350.I can feel somes changes sometimes between 1st & 2nd for instance I do have the glovebox rattle on one particular corner it sounds like something rolling from one side of the glovebox to the other even when there is nothing there. In the last week or so I have noticed an intermittent noise coming from behind the drivers seat when going over bumpy roads
