  1. Happy Birthday torrent!

  2. Here is a link to the pictures I took from the Motor show. The Lexus stand wasn't overly impressive but I took some pictures (on page 5 of the album). http://community.webshots.com/album/147576020RtzUJL
  3. Looks superb mate and exactly the same colour as mine. You gonna luuuuuurrrv it. :D :D
  4. I have HGV (class 2, not sure if the classes are still the same anymore), track vehicle, PCV II. All stems from my days as a vehicle mechanic (long and distant past). Love the story about the woman complaining Steve had left his engine running :D
  5. Doh! Try... Album 1 Album 2 B) B)
  6. cant see yor pics mate......... Zee, can you try again mate. I just took a look and they appear to be okay for me. Let me know if you still got probs.
  7. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of the SC430. I don't really care for the styling and I really don't like the alloys. That said, there are plenty out there who don't like the GS430 (what I've got). At the end of the day, if your happy with it then who cares what JC says?
  8. My first meet too. It was good to put faces to names and my 3-year-old thought all his Christmas' had come at once..he's car mad! Lots of IS' present. Think I was the only GS there. Did see a Soarer though. Nicely organised Claire. Tx. :) Kavey, your car is looking the Mutts Nuts, very nice! :D Here are the pics (not all Lexus): - First album - Second album
  9. The SO2's are great! I understand that tyre expense is a necessary evil and it is tempting to sometimes opt for, let's just say, a lesser grade tyre. However, it is probably prudent to remember that the only thing that get's you round those corners in dry and wet conditions, is that small amount of rubber in contact with the road at each corner.
  10. I had a few "cool" ideas as well. 1) When you sign up for a meet the software could email you a calendar appointment which you could click to enter into most calendar programs (implements a calendar encoding method which is fairly universal). As usual, this would be an opt-in feature. (Actually, this is something I'd like to play with :)) 2) Allow members to "subscribe" to regions and so events for those regions are visible to them when they log in. 3) If a member signs up for a meet outside of their region, list in their local region's table until the meet is past. 4) Some comments Clare passed me in a PM (polite ones I might add :)). :mat: <-- why's this emoticon called MAT? :D :D
  11. Don't know if this has been posted before, apologies if that's the case. I was looking for the address for a fuel station recently and came across this site during the search: http://www.abd.org.uk Seemed quite interesting when reading all the information they have on speeding, get out clauses, plus a database of all the speed camera locations (although no longer updated). Personally, I never speed in built up areas (I've got kids too) but never do 70 on a motorway :)
  12. Come off M4 J12, head towards Theale/Thatcham/Newbury on the A4. About 5 miles down the road (Woolhampton) on your right is a garage with a good jet wash (I think the garage is an Esso one, you can't miss it). From there to the Coppid Beach Hotel is about 25 mins. Can't think of any others between the M4 J12 and the Coppid Beach.
  13. Just had my car's Gold Valet finished today (the only day this week I could get it in). :) Weather looks pants. Has anyone any experience of cling-filming their car? How easy it to do? Do you look like a complete burk driving around it?
