I have a 2004 RX 300 and a 2008 400h, neither car, so far, suffers from leaks. Both cars give a comfortable ride for an SUV. My neighbour commented on how comfortable the 400h was. He drives a VW Passat. Perceived comfort is a personal thing.

I have noticed a vibration through the seat on my 400h. Have you tried (when it is safe to do so) slipping the gear into neutral? Is the vibration still there? Tyres are often a cause when they wear. My tyres are due to be changed as they are over 5 years old and showing signs of grazing on the rears. Years ago I had a similiar problem with a car and changed all four tyres. They did not need changing as they had plenty of tread but was recommended to try it. Unfortunately it did not solve the problem. If your tyres are fairly well worn or have been on the car sometime, I would change them. That is what I am going to do with mine. Will update if it cures the problem.

That is the colour combination I would choose! It has HUD? Is the car an import? I have never seen that colour for sale - it is very similar to my LS 400. Yes I would have gone for that one! Sympathy Ken! Deep sympathy! That looks a cracker! Anyone on here bought it?

It would appear to make sense to have a pure electric as a second car. Many households have two cars and where the second is used for short journeys it would appear to make practical / economic sense - running cost wise. There are good financial arguments for NOT buying an expensive car. The interesting thing is that most people set a budget for buying a car - whether new or second-hand. If your budget stretches to £11,600 you can buy a brand new Dacia or a 10 year old RX 450h. After the purchase it is just running costs (including depreciation and reliability). So if you had £11,600 to spend (cash!) on a SECOND car, what would you buy?

£140 just to look at it? Seems a bit steep. I would consider going to an independent garage as it is out of warranty. Just my thoughts.

We now have the best vacuum cleaner we have ever had. Having a Labrador that sheds hair faster than a barber, we purchased a Shark. Amazing how well it picks up dog hair and everything else. The only disadvantage is the collecting container is small and needs emptying frequently. We are looking for a cordless hand-held machine for small spillages.

Nothing dreadful (apart from a BMW) but over the years my wife and I have have bought so many things we thought would radically change our lives for the better ............... they usually end up not being used e.g. Karcher Steam Cleaner - used twice!

You will enjoy the car. If you have not had a hybrid before you are in for a few surprises - but do not worry!

You may find the rear sensors are automatic and the front sensors need a switch to turn them on.

Interesting what "extras" could be fitted to cars in the 1960's - Radio - push button windscreen washers - seat belts - parking light - wing mirrors. there must be more?

My 400h has front and rear sensors fitted. I have a single button for the front sensors only and it is situated below the gear lever and is illuminated green when on.

Really like that interior combination.

My estimate was too low. However, it is a private sale with no warranty so that needs to be taken into consideration. On the face of it it looks well worth considering.
