  1. What a shame! The prospect of cruising at max 70mph in an Aristo TT is just not an appealing one! As for the top speed delimit, I must say I haven't encountered any problems yet, thankfully. Let's hope someone can find a solution to the cruise issue soon!

  3. Hi, Does anyone know of a way to delimit the cruise control from the maximum 70mph limit on the Aristo TT Mk2? I've had the HKS-SLD delimiter installed but apparently that only delimits the top driving speed limit. Cheers.
  4. Thanks mate. The search for the truth continues!
  5. I agree aido, there is a decidedly floaty feel at the back at high speeds and I can feel it whilst driving. I was also told by a guy who installed the Tom's Canceller that it didn't really make much of a difference.
  6. Thanks Peejay. I've had a look at that thread but unfortunately am more confused than even before! You see according to aido "The TOMS ARS Canceller is supposed to increase the performance of the car, and also reduce the weird sensation you can get from the back of the car at speed! But according to skeet94 "the ARS kicks in at speeds of under 30mph, and shuts off at anything higher. It's mostly to make your turning circle smaller" Which one do you guys think really applies? Cheers.
  7. Yes, you are all right and I guess I'll have to look into each one of these possibilities one by one. I do have another question though: If there was nothing wrong with the ARS, then do you guys think it could still cause any problems with the back end control. The reason I ask is because if one was to install a Tom's ARS Cancellor would it correct any back end stability problems (assuming the ARS was causing the problems to start with) or does the Tom's bar just eliminate the "floaty" back end feel and nothing else? Cheers BTW who is "dr bones" and where is he based?
  8. How can you make the Aristo back end more stable. I'm referring to two key issues, taking off with power (esp in the wet) when the back end slips and the car moves forward in a fish like motion and of course cornering. Cheers.
  9. Thanks for the welcome mate.
  10. [On your other mods there are a few that will take your money and give you not a lot. Which ones do you mean mate?
  11. Hi, I’m new to the world of BPUs as well as to this forum. I’m doing a few mods to my 1999 MKII Aristo Vertex. I am looking for some advice on some issues that I have been unable to find any info on, despite spending countless hours and late nights on the net! Any input will be appreciated. 1. Does anyone have any info / pics on doing a Greddy 600mm V-SPL 2 FMIC install on the MKII Aristo. The Greddy website just says, “P/S cooler needs to be relocated. O/C unable to install together”. Any info / pics on how and where to relocate the P/S cooler and O/C? Also, there appears to be some air con unit there, what do I do with that? How big a job is it? 2. I’m also going to change my timing belt but don’t know whether to buy a Greddy, HKS or Power Enterprise. Any ideas which one to go for and where to buy one at a good price? I've been told that the stock belt is just as good. Also what pulleys should I change at the same time, tensioner, idler? Do these also have to be after market? If so, where do I purchase them from? Also, what else do you suggest I change whilst the engine is stripped, to go with the following mods that I’ll be doing: Greddy BCC, Both Decats, Blits Spec R Boost Controller, HKS Type 1 Turbo Timer, Sard Boost Gauge, HKS SLD Mk II, Front & Rear Strut Bars, Greddy BOV, Apexi Intake, Supra 4-pot Front Brake Conversion, Walbro Fuel Pump, Eibach Lowering Springs, Iridium Sparks, Greddy Top Radiator Hose, Greddy Oil Filler and Radiator caps, Greddy FMIC. Cheers
