  1. Im also wanting to do this, after alot of reading and searching on here it seems the TTE/Eibach ones are rated, along with the Teins, I think I heard they can become bouncey though, Im also still a little lost a regarding what should be replaced at the same time, i.e-Bushes, and how to prevent bottoming out etc so any info would be great! Coilovers I think are the way to go but alot more pricey than just replacement springs, not sure if its worth spending another £200 on coilovers as im not going to be taking my 200 on track etc, all we are most likely after is a lower look with as little bounce as possible . . .

  3. I was thinking down the lines that if someone bought a set of locking wheel nuts from somewhere, and then say, 10 or so other people did from the same place, at least some would match one another, surely every locking wheel nut made cant be different? Not to familiar with this subject I have to say!
  4. Sorry to hear that mate! Must have been horrid to discover something like that, hope you manage to get your wheels back, will keep an eye out for you. Is there any way to customize locking wheel nuts and socket so that they are "unique"? Would be worth it even if its a little hard work?
  5. :o Im 20yrs old, 2 years no claims with Direct Line, 20% Discount for the NCB another 10% Discount for the Multi-Car deal they do (Dad and Brother also insured with Direct Line) Wait for it . . . . . £1,300! Due in March, the only problem is . . I only have the NCB if I stay with Direct Line I think I should start ringing around!
  6. Anybody know or had experience with anywhere down south with reasonable prices?
  7. Welcome to LOC! Defo get some pics up, any plans for the car?
  8. Thank you for the link . . the only problem is the distance they are away from me,which is a pain, thank you very much for the offer on your alloys . . Due to how much refurbing costs Im thinking about looking for a set of aftermarket alloys, I will let you know though if I decide to stick with OEM though. Thats exactly what I thought! Where did you get yours refurbed?
  9. Evening Loc :) After purchasing my IS200 almost a year ago for a lot less than the asking price due to the shocking state of the alloys the time has finaly come to sort them out and bring them back to life. I have been browsing over alot of topics on the refurb subject and I apologise for bringing yet another one to the forum ;) but the ones with prices are fairly old and I think prices may have changed over time, I have reciently had a quote and am just asking what you think of them . . Low/High/Average . . I appreciate any responses and info you may have. Diamond Cut = £75 + VAT Powder Paint (Sparkling Silver) = £55 + VAT If my calculations are correct then to have all four Diamond cut is going to cost, in the region of around £360, which leaves me thinking if I should grab a set pf aftermarket ones Does any one on here possibly have any alloys that would suit Granite Sky (as in my opinion some alloys suit a particular colour whereas others dont) and are wanting to get rid of? Many Thanks
