  1. Hi Rick and Dave, many thanks to you both for your very quick and helpful replies. I went back to the garage today armed with print-outs from the forum and have come away with a car with no illuminations on the dash so all appears to be well - and I still have a seat.....! :) Cheers!
  2. My 2004 GS300 has just had a new cambelt fitted. When I collected the car the VSC and VSC Off lights were on. Took car back to garage, code reader came with code C1233 which the mechanic 'googled' and it apparently means 'bad yaw rate sensor'. He was mystified because he said that the only thing he did that could have caused this was to move the driver's seat! This is a garage I have used before but they are not Lexus specialists and the mechanic reckons that he will have to take the seat out to solve the problem. I am a bit anxious about this because I am not convinced it is necessary and am worried that it could trigger more problems, there are a lot of wires under the seat! If anyone has any other suggestions or solutions, I would be very grateful. Thank you in advance for your help.
