Hi everyone... Getting v. excited now cos I managed to get my hands on an Amarillo IS which I'm picking up on Friday :D :D :D ... chopping in my 52 plate SE ;) . I would like to know (and please forgive me if the question has been asked before) if I can fit Xenon headlights or, if not, what the best option is for "xenon style" bulbs that fit and work well. Can I fit cruise to my IS200 SE (Manual)??? I was told by someone that the wiring is already in the car, up to the steering wheel, but when I asked the dealer, they told me it was not???? They also said it was an expensive thing to have fitted? Who is right? Can I have it fitted, and if so, how much is it..... anyone know?

I have an IS200 SE (52 plate) and was wondering how easy it is to chip it? If I do, how much would it cost, and what happens from an insurance and warranty point of view???

I have only had my IS200 a couple of months. Sourced through a Broker, but Lexus Bristol have been first class. I noticed last week that my alloys are showing signs of corrosion (and the car is only 6 months old). Lexus have told me that they have had trouble with alloys corroding and will replace them under the warranty (throughout - that is up to 3 years of age!!!!) The dealer needs to check them.... and mine are being replaced next week. They will even replace them if they are kerbed too!..... Nice one Lexus! By the way... I dont want this happening again.. can anyone recommend a decent alloy cleaner that wont corrode the alloys????

I had mine fitted and it comes through the pass. door speaker. The guy who fitted it said it can't officially be done (although Lexus Bristol told me that they could do it). When a call comes in or I make a call, the stereo cuts completely.... BUT ... ... If you do use this method, you must ensure that you put a strong relay in (I'm no electrician, but the guy came back twice to fix some bugs in the set up. He installed a second realay in the end!

Can anyone please help me! I want to fit a Nokia Car Kit to my IS200 and have it mute the stereo when a call comes in as well as putting the sound through the speakers. I have asked a guy I know who fits car kits, and he has said that it is difficult as there is no radio mute cable etc. Has anyone fitted a car kit (I can't believe that no-one hasn't!) to an IS200. If you have, please can you let me know the way it is done so I can get it sorted out! Cheers, Andrew :duh:

Hi... just got a Lexus IS 200 SE, company car, and want to know if I can fit the Sat Nav unit, or if not if there is an aftermarket one that fits nicely and is any good? Can anyone help? Please?! ;)
