Approved. I use Raybrig 5000k. Has a little hint of blue as you look at them. But not directly at them, it will hurt your eyes. When driving, its bright white, with no blue hue. 6000k has a hint of blue while driving. White lines will glow blue hue around the edges 8000k and 10000k is almost similar. With deep dark blue and poor visibility down dark roads. 6000k is common than 5000k. Since I got mine from Japan.

I think there is a fix for the calipers. Its called a fix kit. Not sure how much they run.

I use 5w-30 Mobil1 fully synthetic. Yeah, that clunking noise is common. Its the floating calipers, and that noise is the pads moving when you press on the brakes. You will hear it, fowards and backwards. Some say they hear it on rough roads. What kind of HID conversion kit did you get? Look in the F.S. forums to find discounts. Here in the states, we can get the part # from Lexus and call Toyota for better pricing.
