  1. When I bought this monster I was prepared it will eat fuel in king sizes, but it is the opposite. Mainly what I'm doing is driving around city (both on jams and off) alot. When I had Audi A4 1,8 manual, I wasted about 232 EUR and With GS I'm getting the same or just a bit more. Usually I'm driving "peacefully", and eventually can't hold myself from hitting the floor. This could be if my Audi ate fuel, but I'm getting the same results with my wife's RAV4 2002 (AWD). Just thought I'll share my joy... and doubts with you Is it possible? Its a pity I never follow odometer count and can't remember to do so...
  2. Thanks a lot. I works just like you described. We must use lights all year long in Lithuania, so I managed to get what I needed by accident :D
  3. I'm not so sure they are hard to steal. My Gs was stolen in US from first owner after it was only under 10000 miles. They completely messed up both front door locks, panel under steering wheel. Its a black luxury looking car with all tinted windows and I'm getting a hell of attention driving it even from people drivings Mercs S, and other even more expensive cars, so I'm too slightly considered too. Thus always keep it in garage with my Toyota RAV4 rammed to door- if they need my GS, they also will have to steal RAV4, thus its a double mess
  4. Thanks guys. When I take 5W bulbs out not main lamp goes on, but as first reply said high beam instead, but in contrast to first reply they are not high beams, lights is very dim and hardly lights anythings on the road. As for the day lights I don't know even. its an american imported vehicle, so I doubt. And yes, thanks for a warm welcome. Its my first lexus and I love it. Much better than SAAB 95, audi A6 and Mercedes ML :winky:
  5. Hi, I'm new here (as well as a new lexus owner :) ). I'm having difficulties understanding headlights on my 2001 gs300. I know big ones on the outside are night lights, closer to the grill ar long lights, but they also work as... don't know how it in english... (?day lights? ). Whats interesting is that these ones has two bulbs (one in a middle-double, on at lower part (5W)). If I take out these 5W bulbs, bigger ones glow also as ?daylights?(but only start after couple of seconds after ignition), if smaller ones are in place, they work as ?daylights?. My question would be simple- What do these bulbs (in closer to grill compartment) actually do? Thank you in advance. Sincerely, Mantas M
