  2. Does anyone know the wiring diag for a 92 ls400 I want to replace the std pioneer amp (still works ok) for some of my own kit. Does anyone know the wiring config in the boot? as it is just a multiblock connection. It would be a good idea to know what wire does what before I start ripping wires out Anyone installed TV screens yet? I thinking of fitting one in the dash vertically mounted, motorised to rise up out of the dash behind the air vents, depending on available space. idea from Tv fitted in the Volvo S60. I've got all my kit (from my old car) 4ch alpine 400W (rms) 5ch longmill 750W (rms) Alpine 7ch Active x-over Caliber 6.5" compo Infinity 6.5" compo 2 sets of passive x-overs 12" Pyle sub box tuned to 22Hz stinger/monster cable to wire everything up. Is there much room behind the ash tray? good place for a sat nav?? Ta. Dave

  4. I've got it booked in on Tue at Lexus in Sheff for a service so I'll ask about it. I think the water is coming in from the boot lid as when its lifted the water droplets run down the boot bracket. There's no rust or corrosion so it must be recent. Perhaps a drain hole is blocked the drain paths need to be checked. Except for that the car is mint @ 120k with fsh. Had it 4 months now (sold my CLK230 K for it) Previously I've had 2 mercs (other a C200 new shape) and a 3 BMWs, this is the best car by far. Next year I'll upgrade to a mk3. Got bored of fast cars (as they are not fast enough) compared to my 'busa! (202mph recorded) Dave
  5. I noticed there was some due/condensation in the boot and the boot liner was wet. After taking out the liner there was 2" of water around the spare wheel, also collecting under the CD and on the left of the boot. Anyone had this problem. I thinking the boot seals have perrished, the water seams to be running down the baulkhead from the nearside of the fuel tank. Any suggestions? car: '92 ls400.
  6. Never thought about the anti-roll bar, I'll have alook at that as well. Thanks Dave:bounce:
  7. Well I've got a 10pound lump hammer I'll try that, honestly I'll have a look ak the shield and see if its that. By the way I'm in derbyshire as well, where abouts? I'm in belper.
  8. Hi all, I've just exchanged my CLK230K (had from new, decided time for a change) for an LS400 '93. Although it's in mint condition there is a slight clunking sound from the nearside front under braking and turning right. Doesn't do it under hard/gentle left/right turns. I've inspected the caliper everything looks ok. Could it be the strut? Suggestions? Has anyone changed the stereo, as I want to fit a DVD and TV. Dave :?:
