Been taken over buy a company in the UK and all the issues have been addressed. They are softer and dont have the leaking and seizing issues they used to have. They are actually a very good coilover now for the money

Dude dont be too paranoid. that wasnt my intention at all. Just for an example, if you look at standard lexus alloys and how tucked into the car they are and then look at something with a decent offset you'll probably agree that the alloys with a decent offset look alot better. Personally, and im sure ormi would agree, i would never spend money on wheels with a gay offset. To me they just look hidden away and dont give the car the stance it needs when lowered For example. This is mine on standard wheels (sorry about the crappy pic) Now this is mine with a better offset Ok im not entirely happy with the stance as i want mine wider and sticking out more. Im probably going to get an offset of around et15 on the next wheels and flare the arches. As you can see tho it gives a much better look. Not saying you have to go that low tho (mines gone lower since those pics )

I have heard the bc racing coilovers are pretty good. I was going to get these but the teins came up cheap I honestly dont know about the kit you need as its an is300. I couldnt imagine it being that much heavier on the front tho. I'll have a gander and see what i can find for you

Mine did this. The blub was on its way out. Sometimes it was working and other times it wasnt. Just try replacing the bulb

Right with an offset of et30 then i recommend (personally) getting coilovers as you can adjust the height to exactly where you want it and (depending on the coilovers) you find you can also adjust the damping so you can keep the comfort if thats what you want. Just keep an eye out on ebay as a cheap set comes up every now and then. I had Tein HA's for £300 and they had only covered 500miles apparently. main thing is i have never had a problem with them. If your keeping an arch gap of about 1cm then you may not need the arches rolling. You will automatically get some camber when lowering the car aswell so this will also help when clearing the arches. The other option instead of rolling/flaring the carches is to have the metal lip removed. A few friends have done this as its solved the slight rubbing problem

No dont shave anything off the hubs mate. Wheels with a decent offset look a hell of alot better Personally id just lower it and see what happens. If it rubs then roll the arches and adjust the camber. I have an offset of et35 rear with 5mm slip on spacer so esentially et30 and its et30 on fronts. The coilovers on the front are at thier stiffest setting and the backs about half way. The fronts hold the car firmly and dont allow much body roll which in turn doesnt allow it to rub on the arches. Its all down to personal preferance though at the end of the day. Personally how low do you want the car? where do you want the wheels to sit in the arches? etc etc Dont get me wrong peoples advice on here is pretty damn good usually but its not always what people want. If you dont think a 50mm drop is going to be low enough for you then consider coilovers instead maybe. I personally think that the car may have a little too much roll in it with just 50mm springs and therefore you will probably find it will rub on the arches even with the camber adjusted so will therefore need to get the arches rolled aswell

Right despite people saying its easier to buy the TTE kit me and a mate have decidedwe are going to give it a go ourselves We have a problem tho. Why is the butterfly valve needed at the supercharger? There may be a simple answer to this but we cant understand why its there when there is already one on the standard throttle body Is there any reason why others dont do a DIY job and just buy the TTE kit? I know the kit comes with everything but why not do it yourself? Also has anyone ever done it themselves One more thing.....does the size of the pulley at the supercharger need to be a certain size? Any help is much apprecited guys and we will get pictures and a guide up if we manage this successfully

How much of a hammering are you giving the car on a r regular basis? If i were you dude i'd get over to www.driftworks.com for help about this kind of stuff as i've noticed on here that people dont seem to like people drifting or modding a car in such a way that doesnt look almost stock. When you go non there tho please try and refrain from mentioning any streeto sessions. Everyone knows it goes on but its a really bad idea mentioning it on any forum, especially ones that have been monitored by police in the past for exactly this kind of thing. Its in a fixed position for now until i buy a bride runner. One of my mates is a welder for Pro-speed exhausts so he said he'd make something up. he's made it is such a way that as soon as i buy the runner all i have to do is undo the seat from the frame and bolt the runner on. I havent got any pics of it in the car yet as i keep forgetting and the inside of my car is stinking too. I will get some asap for you
