  1. Hi, I've mounted a TTE supercharger on my IS200 from 2001. The ECU is a black box from Patrik. I've been driving with the kit for 3 weeks and it runs great. But 2 times in those 3 weeks, the engine suddenly loose power and won't rev above 2000 RPM! Also the engine light comes up and the TRC keeps blinking. I turn of the engine and wait 5min. Then I start it up again and now it revs and drive normally, though the engine and TRC lights are still flashing. I've checked the faultcode with a OBD tester and it says P1125 which is Throttle control motor circuit malfunction. I've checked all the wires going into the throttle body and it looks fine. Has anyone experienced this? Could it be something with the black box? B.R Daniel
  2. Hi, I've just received my LED rear lights which I bought on Ebay. These http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120577548082&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123#ht_4253wt_1112 I've just mounted them but I can't get them to light correctly. Either there is only driving light without brake light (when brake pedal depressed) or no driving light but brake light comes on when brake pedal depressed. Based on how I turn the plug for the LED. Has anyone experienced this?
  3. That must be the reason. It's 100% the Sport version here in Denmark, but it seems the 1999 Sport version has not got an external amp in Denmark.
  4. Ok but is there a way I can be sure that I have the Sport or not? There is absolutely no external amp to be found. I took some pics when trying to find the amp but I don't know how ti upload them.
  5. Hi, I'm really confused of which model I have. What I know is: Lexus IS200 1999. Its a LHD (Denmark). It has the original 17" alloys, leather/escaine cabin. alloy pedals. stainless steel scuff plates, dark tinted rear windows. Power controlled driver seat..... I would say its a Sport? But when I was about to install a new radio with my purchased amp by-pass lead, I couldn't find the external amp behind the glove box. I've looked everywhere even at the steering wheel side. It just isn't there.... Now I'm not so sure I have the Sport version :megaangry: If I haven't got the Sport version, which adaptor cable do I then need for my new aftermarket radio? Thanks Daniel
  6. Really? Isn't 2000 RPM at cold start too much..
  7. Hi, I've tried searching the forum but couldn't get an answer to my problem :-( My IS200 1999 Sport, idles at 2000 RPM when cold! When it's warmed up there's nothing wrong, it idles at 600-700 RPM. No fault codes and TPS is adjusted corectly. Throttle body is also clean. Does anyone have the same problem or maybe someone knows what is causing this? Thanks Daniel
  8. front left + black front right + blue rear left + white rear right + red common _ brown. in your phono plug centre is positive, you need 4 phone plugs and wire center pin of phono plugs, to positives listed above and all negatives go to common wire. Then just plug them into pre outs on new stereo. job done. Thanks a lot. I think I will do this. For sure it must be better than only the new headunits amp? Also I won't have to buy the by-pass amp cable.
  9. Sounds great. So I can just forget the factory amp. The new head unit will do the job better? How did you add phono plugs from new headunit to factory amp wiring?
  10. Hi guys, I have a question which I couldn't find the answer to. My car is a Lexus IS200 Sport 1999. I'm changing the original Lexus headunit to an Alpine unit. The car should have the larger soundsystem with factory amp behind the glove box since its the Sport model. I've read about the amp by-pass cable when fitting a new head unit. But when I by-pass the factory amp wouldn't the soundsystem sound really bad??? I mean then the new Alpine unit should run the hole soundsystem.. I would like to avoid mounting a new external amp. Thanks in advance Daniel from Denmark
  11. Nope they arent worn, but actually I got the DF210 Tanabe's in a box at home, but was told that the Tanabe springs will reduce the life span quite much on the factory struts! Don't want to blow up my shocks in a couple of months.. :(
  12. Hi, Does anyone know any european online sites where I can buy coilovers for my LS 400 1993? Thanks in advance Daniel
